Acorn Retreat Location & The Local Area

Acorn Retreat is situated just off the main Enniskillen to Tempo Road on the east side of Enniskillen in the townland of Lackaboy. Directions of travel and how to get there will be forwarded at time of booking either by post or email.

We offer a collection and delivery service from all Irish Airports and Ferry Terminals at a cost of £60 return.

Acorn Retreat provides visitors with the perfect gateway to explore the many local attractions of Co Fermanagh and neighbouring counties. The area abounds with beautiful natural scenery and historic sites to visit. Acorn Retreat is particularly well placed to visit Tyrone, Donegal and Cavan or indeed visit the North Antrim Coast, home to The Giant's Causeway - a World Heritage Site.

On either side of the vast valley through which the Erne flows are hills richly clothed in Forest Parks, some with breathtaking view points such as the one at Lough Navar Forest Park near Derrygonnelly.

In less than an hour's drive you will find the beautiful sandy beaches on the Donegal coast - Rossnowlagh, Murvagh, Mullaghmore and Rosses Point.

The market town of Enniskillen is awash with superb Restaurants and Public Houses with other attractions including Enniskillen Castle, (with museum), the Buttermarket Craft Centre and Ardhowen Theatre.
