Change of bed linen and towels will take place after 7 days in the event of any booking in excess of 1 week.

A collection and delivery service is available from all Irish Airports and Ferry Terminals at a cost of £60 return.

Terms and Conditions

A booking deposit of £100 per rental week is required to reserve the cottage. Email or telephone bookings will be reserved for 5 days pending deposit. The deposit paid is non refunable following any cancellation within 4 weeks of proposed occupation.
The balance is payable immediately upon arrival. One week prior to arrival you will be contacted for details of your wishes in relation to the welcome pack and also given directions as to how to find us.
If you cancel your holiday rental, you must inform us in writing. The charges detailed below will apply.
It is advised that you have holiday insurance to cover the possibility of having to cancel your holiday.
Hirers must be over 18yrs of age at time of booking
The self catering cottage sleeps a maximum of 4 persons. Arrival commences from 4pm on day of arrival and the cottage will be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. (If you require the cottage earlier please call)
The hirer is responsible for the property, all equipment during the period of hire, for the clean condition of all utensils at the end of the hire; remove all personal food and perishable items, otherwise a charge of £15 will be made.
The hirer must accept responsibility for damage caused to the cottage and its contents during their stay and will be liable for the cost of repair or replacement.
The hirer should notify the owner of any faults found on arrival or during their stay so that we can ensure the cottage is properly maintained.
A security deposit of £50 must be paid on arrival. This will be returned to you within 7 days provided we are satisfied that the terms and conditions of rental have been complied with.
Small pets are welcome but owners to ensure that they are not permitted on the furniture or beds and must be accompanied by provision of proper bedding/baskets.
Euro cheques made out in sterling. Payment by bank transfer to be made in pounds sterling. Bank details supplied on request. The hirer must pay all bank charges.
Payment must be made by either cash or cheque and must be made in full if rental booking is within 6 weeks of the date of booking.
Non payment of your balance monies, when they become due, will constitute cancellation of the hire.
If you book the cottage less than 6 weeks from its start rental date, the full holiday cost must be paid before we can issue the confirmation.
Confirmation will be issued on receipt of full deposit or payment and where payment is not received within 7 days of the due date then the booking will be taken as cancelled and the owners reserve the right to relet the period not honoured.
ACORN RETREAT OPERATES A STRICT NO SMOKING POLICY AND ANY EVIDENCE THAT THIS HAS NOT BEEN ADHERED TO WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE LOSS OF DEPOSIT WITH THE PROCEEDS USED TO CLEAN THE PROPERTY. Further damage charges may also apply as per point (3)
The playing of loud music or causing of any noise pollution is strictly forbidden either inside or outside in the vicinity of the premises is strictly forbidden.
No persons other than residents are allowed on the ACORN RETREAT premises between the hours of 12 Midnight and 8am on any day. Failure to comply may lead to immediate termination of any renting agreement and a requirement to residents to leave the premises immediately.
